PLACES TO VISIT

SAGRADA FAMÍLIA
Gaudí built the Sagrada Familia being inspired by the tradition of Byzantine and Gothic cathedrals. The architecture and the beauty of the building wanted to express Christian beliefs, and communicate the Gospel message to everyone. There are eighteen towers. Gaudí wanted to represent some saints, apostles, the Virgin Mary and Jesus with every tower. At the moment some architects are finishing the buildings that Gaudí wanted to erect in this church.

If you want to visit it, the tickets cost 15 euros without guide and with this it cost 24 euros. Here is the link if you want to buy it: http://www.sagradafamilia.org/tiquets/

TORRE AGBAR

The Torre Agbar is a 38-story skyscraper/tower located between Avinguda Diagonal and Carrer Badajoz, near Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes, which marks the gateway to the new technological district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla
The strategic location of this church (barroque style, sXVII) has become one of the most characteristic of Sitges icons. There are some beautiful baroque altarpieces of the 17th century and the parish organ has great richness, 1699. Its structure is quite unusual, because it has two bell towers, and has the clock that served the population to calculate the time in one of its towers. Its facade is quite simple but the frame where it is located is incomparable. There is a renaissance retable inside with Sant Bartomeu and santa Tecla.

MONTSERRAT
Montserrat is a multi-peaked mountain located near the city of Barcelona, in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the Catalan Pre-Coastal Range. The name comes from the word mont,'mountain' and serrat, 'mountain range'.

CASA BATLLÓ
Casa Batlló is one of the two great buildings designed by Antoni Gaudí on Passeig de Gràcia, the other being La Pedrera.
From the outside the façade of Casa Batlló looks like it has been made from skulls and bones. The "Skulls" are in fact balconies and the "bones" are supporting pillars.

The building was designed by Gaudí for Josep Batlló, a wealthy aristocrat, as an upmarket home. Señor Batlló lived in the lower two floors with his family and the upper floors were rented out as apartments.

LES RAMBLES
Les Rambles is a street in Barcelona full of activity, it's like a city inside the city. It has become a landmark in Barcelona, owned by all the population and the people who visit us from abroad, and not just the heritage of the people living and working there. Les Rambles are approximately 1.2 kilometres long with Port Vell (near the cruise port terminal) at the Southern most end and Plaça Catalunya at the northern most end.
